About The Bike Tour & Boat Cruise

The Sights at Night tour makes for the perfect evening activity. Starting at twilight and continuing as the dusk draws into night you’ll see some of London’s most famous and beautiful landmarks at their very best: when the streets are quieter and the throngs of tourists have gone home for the day. As darkness creeps in and the city lights up, London takes on a different buzz.

Highlights include passing by Tower Bridge, London Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe, the London Eye and the magnificent gothic Houses of Parliament in all their illuminated glory. We show you loads of other quirky sights along the way that tell the story of the two millennia that London has been around, from the days of the Roman Conquest right up to present times.

Pedaling leisurely along riverside paths, quiet back streets and dedicated cycle routes, we take in the cityscape from the trendy, ever-popular South Bank district. Then it’s across to Westminster, heart of the nation’s government, and home of the famous abbey... and then we see something no-one ever expects. Just yards from the bright lights and Big Ben is a cluster of eerie gas-lit backstreets, a rare survivor of the Victorian London of Charles Dickens. We finish up with a chilled-out boat ride on the Thames. After that it’s a quick hop back on the bikes and home to our base at the Old Justice riverside inn for a well-deserved pint* .

• Our twilight route avoids busy roads and is largely traffic-free with short sections on traffic-calmed minor roads and cobbled streets.
• Your expert guide will ensure that you remain safe at all times and high visibility clothing, helmets and bicycle lights are provided.
• Please note that all riders must be at least 14 years old to participate on this tour.

Don’t forget to grab something to eat before we leave as there will be no food stops en route...although excellent pub grub is available at the end if you can hold on that long.
