About The Bike Tour & Boat Cruise

This tour makes for the perfect evening activity. Starting at twilight and continuing as the dusk draws into night you’ll see some of London’s most famous and beautiful landmarks at their very best: when the streets are quieter and the throngs of tourists and office workers have gone home for the day. As darkness creeps in and the city lights up, London takes on a different buzz.

The tour begins with a chilled-out water taxi for a chilled into Central London. Then it’s back on the bikes and across to Westminster, heart of the nation’s government, and home of the famous abbey... and then we see something no-one ever expects. Just yards from the bright lights and Big Ben is a cluster of eerie gas-lit backstreets, a rare survivor of the Victorian London of Charles Dickens.

Pedalling leisurely along riverside paths, quiet back streets and dedicated cycle routes, we take in the cityscape from the trendy, ever-popular South Bank district. Highlights include passing by Tower Bridge, London Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe, the London Eye and the magnificent gothic Houses of Parliament in all their illuminated glory.

We show you loads of other quirky sights along the way that tell the story of the two millennia that London has been around, from the days of the Roman Conquest right up to present times. Then it’s home to our base at the Old Justice riverside inn for a well-deserved pint*.

This twilight tour avoids busy roads and is largely traffic free, with short sections on quieter streets. Helmets, lights and high-visibility clothing are provided.

* Post Tour drink included in the price. You must be at least 18 years old to drink alcohol in a public house in the UK.

• Remember that London can get a little chilly in the evenings, even in the middle of summer. Please make sure you bring some warm clothing with you. Wearing just shorts and t-shirts is NEVER a good idea for this tour.
• Also, don’t forget to grab something to eat before we leave as there will be no food stops en route...although excellent pub grub is available at the end if you can hold on that long.
